Welcome to Kansas City Paddle Company!

KC Paddle Co. was born out of a passion for the water in 2022 with the intent of sparking a little extra joy in our world. Guess what? It worked, and now it’s your turn!

My name is Ted, and my passion for the outdoors and lake life have inspired me to help others seek the same joy I’ve discovered during my many paddle journeys! I grew up in metro Kansas City and I am pumped to see other locals explore the waters!

Our goal at KC Paddle Co. is to create an experience that is fun, educational, and great for overall health. Over the years there have been many times friends and family would visit, with limited options for outdoor fun for the whole family without breaking the bank. So here we are, paddling is such a fun and memorable experience! Even if travelers do own their choice of inflatables at home, tugging it along isn’t always an option. Or if you’re new to the sport, the up front cost might prevent you from getting on the water. Never Fear, renting may also be a great option for you if are not sure you even enjoy paddling. I’m biased, but apparently they aren’t for everyone and that’s okay! As a result, renting could help you to make a clear decision on a future purchase. If you personally already own a paddle board, kayak or other vessels, maybe you have other friends or family members that join you on the lake occasionally. Renting may be an ideal situation for you as well. Not to mention seeing how a youngster will fair on one before a big purchase would also be wise.
